Book 22, Siblings Without Rivalry

Siblings Without Rivalry, like others by Faber, focuses on communicating with children, in this case to avoid one of the most universal parenting dilemmas for parents of more than one child. Some of the suggestions seem kind of unnatural, some of the scenarios seem to work out just a little too nicely — after all, real parents can’t script the reactions their children are going to have. Still, there are good reminders to listen first, to ask questions rather than jumping in with a solution, and most of all, to resist the temptation to compare and label your kids.
